Yin Yin

Hailing from Maastricht (Netherlands), Yīn Yīn appeared on the music scene in 2019 with the Thai psych rock-influenced album “The Rabbit that Hunts Tigers”. Followed in 2022 by “The Age of Aquarius”, with more spiritual and cosmic sounds. “Mount Matsu”, their third opus, marks a turn towards sounds reminiscent of Japanese music. Confined to pentatonic scales, the band’s sound is based on a unique combination of instruments, including vintage synthesizers and a traditional Chinese string instrument, the Guzheng.
