The Quest Begins is the second in Tigran Hamasyan’s triptych of music videos inspired by the Armenian tale The Bird of a Thousand Voices.

After the first clip, Areg and Manushak, which sets the scene for this trilogy and for the album The Bird of a Thousand Voices, released in August, we are now at the heart of the story. In superb black and white, the medieval world of the legend is revealed: a prince sets out in search of a mystical bird, the only hope of harmony in a world in chaos. At the heart of this fresco, an ancient manuscript reveals fragments of this timeless story…
