Sepideh Raissadat et les frères Khoshravesh

An exceptional vocalist and great player of the sétâr, the Iranian lute, Sepideh Raissadat is a remarkable figure on the Iranian cultural scene. At the age of twenty, she was one of the first women to perform on her country’s major stages since the Islamic revolution.
Here she is joined by the Khoshravesh brothers for an exceptional concert. Born in Mazandaran, a region in the north of Iran, the Khoshravesh brothers are also masters in the art of reviving their country’s musical traditions. They are accompanied by percussionist Jérôme Salomon. For this concert, they will be performing works by Iranian composer Reza Ghassemi.
