Dulcis Melodia⎜Respira O Anima

As part of its rediscovery of Rhenish baroque music, Dulcis Melodia is offering a new work focusing on music from Strasbourg in the 17th century, when Italy was blowing a creative wind across Alsace. At the centre of this programme, based around the voice and wind instruments (including the cornetto, then at the height of its glory), we discover, in a subtle alternation of timbres, two collections intimately influenced by Italy, whose diffusion at the time was widespread throughout the region and far beyond.
