Justin Taylor ⎮ BWV921

BWV921 is the story of a highly technical harpsichord piece by Johann Sebastian Bach, filmed as a sporting event by director Gaultier Durhin. The allegory is of two cyclists in a frantic race on a velodrome track: a red jersey – the defending champion – and a blue jersey – the challenger. And in counterpoint, the two hands of baroque harpsichordist Justin Taylor dictate the rhythm of an unbridled race on the keyboard, where the left hand outdoes itself to win out over the right.
